Altar Society: Volunteers who care for altar linens & vestments and clean the sanctuary, sacristy and church vestibules. They
might also assist with flower arranging.


Music:   Singers are cordially invited to join our choir.  We do not require tryouts and solo singing is always optional. Singing in
the choir is a unique opportunity to participate in the Mass in a way many of us have found to be very fulfilling, spiritually. It is
often said that, "Singing at Mass is like praying twice."  Choir practice is every Thursday at 6:00 pm in the church. For more

Lectors:  Volunteers, adults and older children,  who proclaim scriptures at masses. Workbooks are provided for practice and
pronunciation. Training with the microphone is available.

Minister of the altar:   Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion distribute the blessed sacrament to the faithful at weekday
and weekend Masses. Open to parishioners who have received the sacrament of Confirmation, and are in communion with the
faith.

Altar Servers:  Children, and adults, who assist the clergy at masses. We welcome children in Grade 4 and older that have
made their First Communion and display appropriate maturity. Training is provided.

Homebound Ministers:  Eucharistic Ministers volunteer to bring communion to those parishioners who are sick at home, in a
hospital or in a care facility and cannot come to Mass to receive communion.


Greeters:  Persons to distribute the weekly bulletin or missals, and give a warm hello. Children and families welcome.

Sacristan:  Help to make sure that all is prepared in the sanctuary for the celebration of Mass. Qualified adults only.


Children's Education Program (CCD):  Grades K-8   Read more about the Children's Education program.

Respect Life: Sponsors pro-life education and spiritual activities. This ministry works closely with the Humboldt Pro-life. Read

Funeral Ministry:  Assist families who wish to have a reception in the church hall following the service.


There are many other ways that you can serve our parish. Some of these are on an 'as needed' basis.  Please
