Altar Society: Volunteers who care for altar linens & vestments and clean the sanctuary, sacristy and church vestibules. They might also assist with flower arranging.
Music: Singers are cordially invited to join our choir. We do not require tryouts and solo singing is always optional. Singing in the choir is a unique opportunity to participate in the Mass in a way many of us have found to be very fulfilling, spiritually. It is often said that, "Singing at Mass is like praying twice." Choir practice is every Thursday at 6:00 pm in the church. For more information, please call Issa Stemler at 707-840-9514.
Minister of the altar: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion distribute the blessed sacrament to the faithful at weekday and weekend Masses. Open to parishioners who have received the sacrament of Confirmation, and are in communion with the faith. (click here for current schedule). (Schedule for January 25 - April 25, 2010)
Homebound Ministers: Eucharistic Ministers volunteer to bring communion to those parishioners who are sick at home, in a hospital or in a care facility and cannot come to Mass to receive communion.
Respect Life: Sponsors pro-life education and spiritual activities. This ministry works closely with the Humboldt Pro-life. Read more about the organization.
Funeral Ministry: Assist families who wish to have a reception in the church hall following the service.
