Stewardship Corner
Today’s readings call us to active discipleship. It is not enough to know the commandments; we must actively obey them. It is not enough to hear the words of Jesus; we must act on them. Good stewards demonstrate their gratitude for the gift of faith by putting it into action.
Leave a Legacy A relatively new way of making a planned charitable gift is for the donor to designate a charity or our parish as the recipient of a personal IRA account or other retirement account. Talk to your tax preparer or financial advisor about how you can “leave a legacy” through a retirement account.

Mike was Ordained May 11, 1968 at St. Bernard Church by Bishop Leo T. Maher.
