Stewardship Corner

When the Son of Man comes in glory, may we be among those who have fed the hungry, welcomed the stranger and clothed the naked. For Jesus tells us clearly that it is those who have demonstrated good stewardship by sharing their gifts with the less fortunate who will receive God’s blessing and inherit the kingdom.

Leave a Legacy We are called upon to do good. “To worship and serve in Jesus’ names.” We always need to remember that Jesus died for the world, but His saving mission goes on. We, too, Should plan that the good we have done in this life lives after us. One way is to make certain that a share of our worldly goods is left to charities, church, and the needy. Your financial advisor or attorney can help you plan.

PLEASE PUT YOUR PARISHIONER # ON ALL CHECKS IF YOU ARE NOT USING ENVELOPES.

EVERYONE WHO IS REGISTERED WITH THE PARISH HAS A PARISHIONER NUMBER. IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE. IF YOU WANT A YEAR END STATEMENT OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CHURCH YOU MUST USE AN ENVELOPE OR PUT YOUR PARISHIONER NUMBER ON ALL YOUR LOSE CHECKS. THE OFFICE CAN NOT KEEP TRACK WITHOUT A NUMBER.

Please join us for Mass where 100% of your contributions are sent to Catholic Relief Service whose hands-on aid is truly phenomenal. Please call with questions, ideas, help, etc. to Sandy 442-0082.

THANK YOU The Rotherham family would like to thank everyone for your love and support to us in our darkest hours, and for your expression of love for our beloved MAX. He was a unique man with a sense of humor and a caring heart. We know he is smiling and thankful, as we are, for the many prayers, visits, telephone calls, food, flowers, cards, donations to St. Bernard Church and St. Bernard High School, MD Association, Leukemia Society, and Shriner’s Children Hospital. We thank you for the many Memorial Masses and the beautiful Spiritual Memorial Remembrances in his name. Last, but not least, thanks for the supporting guidance of Fr. Loren, and the help of Julie G and crew, VFW and the Knights of Columbus.  We will never forget your loving kindness— Bonnie, Scott, Ginny, Tina, Todd, Jeff and families.
